Scope

The team provided an end-to-end decarbonisation advisory service for a client who are developing a Lithium Chemicals Plant in the Yanbu Industrial City. The complex will produce lithium and other metals required in cathode active materials for rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.

During execution a decarbonisation framework was developed to mitigate risks associated with climate change and position the client as a sector leader in decarbonisation in the battery chemicals market.

The scope of work considered all stages of the battery chemicals process, with studies phased & prioritised based on the delivery of the projects in KSA, Australia and other sites.
