For decades, data from historical projects has formed the basis of new estimates, and this is still the case for rhi today, albeit using a modern, efficient cost database.

rhiDATA is our centralised database of quantity, weight, and cost information from our standard models, historical projects and publicly available project information. rhiDATA allows your project to benefit from actual detailed project information (quantities, person-hour and cost norms) for estimating, benchmarking and evaluation purposes that supports your asset during its life cycle.

Included within the software’s functionality is the ability for our team to compare current estimates against similar (project type, region etc.) and publicly available project information, including the detailed breakdowns where this information is known by rhi.

rhi’s team continually check estimates for the duration of the project to validate estimated quantities, person-hours, and costs, providing confidence to key stakeholders. Across the whole project life cycle, rhiDATA forms an important piece of this jigsaw along with our other proprietary applications, (rhiCOMS, rhiPEMS & rhiDEMS).

Utilising modern techniques and tools such as PowerBi and Microsoft Azure, quick and easy metrics and calculations are produced. For example, standard deviation similar to the below which can be further interrogated to identify areas of concern or interest:
