rhi appoints Richard Grant as Director of newly launched Carbon Footprint Reduction Practice
rhi is pleased to announce the expansion of its consulting offering with a new Carbon Footprint Reduction Analysis Team, which will complement its Carbon Column offering.
As our clients navigate towards net-zero, reducing their carbon impact is vital. rhi’s initial approach with the Carbon Column tool was to develop a service that supports clients with their estimating of Scope 3 embodied carbon.
To drive the development of this tool, Richard Grant OBE has been appointed as Director of Carbon Footprint Reduction. Richard was previously a Managing Consultant for Sustainable Development in rhi’s parent company, Wood, where he worked with clients to inform strategies for managing the multi-dimensional challenges presented by the principles of sustainable development.
Richard has over 30 years’ experience in environmental and social management and will be key in the expansion of our services to deliver a full Greenhouse Gas (GHG) assessment and carbon-costed reduction offering.
David Paterson, Managing Director of rhi said, “I am delighted to have Richard join our team and lead our new Carbon Footprint Reduction Climate Team.
The team consists of Richard Grant, David Lane, Mark Pettifer, Ewan Lewis and Calum Fowler who will work closely with clients and assist them to achieve their climate change ambitions.
David Paterson continued, “I am very excited to have such a high caliber group of individuals to accelerate our innovative carbon solutions.”
