James D McFarlane, Group Managing Director
Operating between the RHi's offices in Guildford and Houston, Jim has over 30 years experience in RHi, and has been the company’s principal executive since 1988. A chartered quantity surveyor, he has wide experience across the full range of RHi services, and provides specialist cost, contract and estimating consultancy to many of RHi’s main clients.
Andrew L Hamilton, Systems Director
Andrew has worked in the Oil and Gas industry for the past 25 years. For most of that time he has had an association with RHi, when he joined fulltime in 2000. His particular interest is the production and implementation of IT systems to support the business processes of the industry. As a Chartered Engineer with expertise in databases and process mapping, he has much experience of such software application development. He has worked on projects in Europe, the Far East and North America. Currently he also acts as RHi Group Quality Manager.
Finlay McLay - Regional Director - Americas
Finlay has 20 years experience in the oil & gas industry, including 15 with RHi. During this time, he has worked and lived in various locations, including the UK, Malaysia, Venezuela, the US and, most recently, Canada. A Chartered Quantity Surveyor by profession, his experience extends to the areas of estimating, cost control, contracts and quantity surveying and he is also familiar with RHi systems, including RHiComs™, having been responsible for its implementation on a large number of projects. He has worked on a variety of project types, from deepwater offshore projects in the Gulf of Mexico through to heavy oil projects in Venezuela and Canada.
Mike Moore - Regional Director - Asia Pacific
Mike has approximately twenty years combined experience, comprising commercial, contracts and project management in the oil & gas, heavy engineering and construction industries, both in the UK and internationally. Mike graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from Nottingham Trent University, gaining Chartered Surveyor status soon after. He has since further supplemented his qualifications with a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management and an MBA from the University of Reading. In his current role as Regional Director of Rider Hunt Asia Pacific, Mike is primarily responsible for the management of operations and the effective delivery of all project commissions and assignments undertaken region wide.
David O'Daly - Group Finance Manager
David has over 20 years' experience in Finance and Accounting, including 15 years in the oil and gas and related industries as a qualified accountant. David graduated with a B.Sc. degree from the University of Liverpool, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law and an MBA from Henley Business School following an accountancy and audit training with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells Chartered Accountants (now part of PricewaterhouseCoopers).
